This is a great tip, Julia.  RSS is a boon for the information hungry!  I&#039;ve kept up to date on work-related knowledge by subscribing to quality blogs on topics of interest.  Google reader works superbly, and if you are already a Gmail user there are ways to tie the two together.  

Another useful way to use RSS (besides news and blogs):  Craigslist search results.  Any search result actually has an RSS feed.  Do a search for an item you are interested in, subscribe to the feed, and kick back in your feed reader and monitor the stream.  You&#039;ll be right on top of it if someone adds something that you might be interested in!</description>
